DESCRIPTION:
Mixed Lot - Ansonia "Turret" walnut case with F. Kroeber movement, c1875
CONDITION:
there is a nice old finish on this elaborate case, with some small losses and age shrinkage, and both turned finials have been repaired. The glass and barrel pendulum are old, the paper dial is new. The backboard has a long crack (formerly covered with duct tape) and some extra holes. The Kroeber movement ticks and strikes the hours on a bell. Interestingly, the case closely resembles the Kroeber model of the same name. Ht 21"
